What we're looking for:

Our tournament community for the Lunacian Sports League is growing rapidly, and we're looking to add a dedicated administrator to champion our competitive community and assist in operations surrounding the tournaments

This person will have had experience as a moderator gaming communities such as discord, forums, facebook groups—particularly for those in gaming. Operating tournaments as a marshal or junior marshal is a plus.

Responsibilities

Duties involve assisting in weekly tournament in the discord, providing discussion topics, encouraging participants to share, removing unrelated or inappropriate content, answering questions, defining group boundaries and rules, and updating the platform.

• Manage, moderate, and liaise with our core team and the members of our gaming community—particularly led by the our gaming community on the Lunacian Scholarship League discord and social audience.
  • Systemize & organize our community Discord to match the goals for community growth and harmony
  • Respond and direct members to key information on LSL, Metasports, and its events and partners
  • Organize and present key information from LSL, Metasports, and its events and partners to the community
  • Manage permissions, bots, and other specialized functionality for and of the community
• Facilitating tournament according to ruleset provide for competitive play for LSL Titles
  • Setup registration pages on tournament platforms for Friday Night Axie and LSL monthly tournaments
  • Update and manage rulebook documentation under our operations head
• Sample Tasks
  • Replying and answering community and partner questions
  • Install and setup discord bots
  • Suggesting and applying improvements to the system of our Discord
  • Coordinating check-in of players in discord prior to tournament
  • Answering inquiries on our discord related to LSL

Qualifications

• Likes or is interested in esports, experience in esports is a plus
• Must have proven record managing a gaming community on digital platform - Preferably Discord
• HEAVILY PREFERRED: Crypto and blockchain familiarity
